The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Premiere Recap: Shannon Tries to Save Her Marriage>>>

In her Bravo blog, Shannon says that the decision to share her marital problems on TV was not an easy decision but she believes that telling her story to the world would also help other couples going through a similar dilemma. And while she hates reliving her pas heartache, she is determined to focus on positive things and the future.

“When watching David reveal the highs and lows in his life, I felt like I was punched in the stomach. I saw that he listed the affair as both a ‘high’ and a ‘low.’ I heard him say that the affair gave him ‘new life.’ Today, I am trying to process through the hurt that I feel from his comments. Some moments can be difficult, but I am focusing on the positive. I remind myself of the commitment that David has made to both me and our family. He has not only made himself accountable to me, but to everyone who watches the show, and for that, I am grateful beyond words,” she wrote in her blog.

So how did Shannon and David Beador save their marriage? The RHOOC star gives credit to Couples Retreat.

“After I found out about the infidelity, we had some bumps back and forth and we finally ended up at a place called Couples Retreat,” Shannon told Us Weekly. “They have a 90 percent success rate with repairing marriages and we went through the process and it was eye-opening for the both of us and we received some tools that would help us repair our marriage.”

While their marriage is still a work in progress, Shannon reveals that she and her husband are in a better place now.

“Every Saturday night after church we go out to dinner just the two of us and it’s nice,” David said. “It’s nice to have the alone time. Shannon calls it our ‘reconnection time’…It’s really helped our relationship because previously we never did that.”
