It seems like there may be something in the water in Orange County. First Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson's daughter had a brush with cancer and now her co-star Tamra Barney told Dr. Oz on his show that she was diagnosed with cervical cancer.

The subject came up when Dr. Oz asked Tamra about her recent breast reduction that was documented on the show (still to be featured in upcoming episodes).

"I have a long list of reasons why I had them removed," Tamra said. "Starting with they always felt too big for my body."

She then goes on to imply that there were other more serious reasons for her decision to remove the implants.

"I had a little health scare," she said. "I was going through this divorce. I go to the doctor and I have lumps in my breasts and I had cervical cancer that had to be removed. I really went through this like, 'What is going on with my body? What is going on?' I'm talking to my doctor about doing a hysterectomy."

She also went into more detail on her blog on her Facebook page, "Feeling lumps in your breast that need to biopsied is scary and made me wonder if my implants would make it harder to detect breast cancer... and why take the chance," she wrote. "Removing my implants was a way of me taking back control of MY body physically and mentally."

She also wrote that cancer scare aside, she is still happy with her decision to have the procedure done.

"The best part of being in my 40's is that I started to feel more secure with myself and accepting of my body," she wrote. "I now work hard to keep myself healthy with diet and exercise. I love the way I look without my implants and do NOT miss them at all."

Here's a preview of Tamra dealing with her surgery on tonight's episode:
