Jo de la Rosa’s Biography:

Johanna de la Rosa, or Jo as she is more commonly known, is a young woman at the prime of her life. She enjoys going to parties with her friends and staying out late every night. This beautiful and seductive lady has everything going for her but the problem is, having a relationship with an older man who is ready to commit and settle down (again) is seriously impeding on her active social life. This is the life that she tries so hard to balance as seen in Bravo’s reality television series The Real Housewives of Orange County.

For season 2 of the show, Jo and Slade have just broken off their engagement. Jo has realized that she is not capable (not yet, anyway) of becoming the stay-at-home wife that Slade wants. On the other hand, Slade, who has two teenage sons, is focusing his energy on becoming a better dad. Jo has also become interested in joining the entertainment industry, and wants so much to leave Orange County in order to find better opportunities in Los Angeles.

Following her and former beau, Slade’s participation in on-the-record, non-Bravo sanctioned interviews with The Los Angeles Times, in which they expressed frustration with the network’s restrictive publicity policies, Jo has since been dropped from the third season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.  Her spot on the reality show has been taken by 39-year old mother of four and real estate agent, Tamra Barney.  All is not lost for De La Rosa however, as her debut album entitled Just Jo, is already awaiting release in 2008.
