The idea of Vicki Gunvalson leaving The Real Housewives of Orange County seems unlikely, considering she’s the only remaining original cast member of Bravo’s flagship series. But taking into account all the heartache she has endured this season, it’s possible that the veteran housewife may call it quits at the end of season 10.

According to Radar Online, the 53-year-old reality star is contemplating on quitting The Real Housewives of Orange County.  It’s been a tough year for Gunvalson, who had to deal with her mother’s death,  a breakup with boyfriend Brooks Ayes and tension with newbie Meghan Edmonds, who has accused Ayes of lying about having cancer.

“Vicki does not need the stress that this season has added to her life. Vicki has not decided yet if she wants to return to the show next season,” a source told Radar Online. “Vicki is going to wait until this season is done to sit down and reassess things before deciding if she is going to continue as the longest running housewife of all time.”

If Gunvalson does decide to exit the Bravo series, it would not comes as a big shock. In an interview with the Associated Press in July, the reality star admits that she has indeed considered leaving The Real Housewives of Orange County.

“Yes. In the past three years I’ve thought about it. It’s been hard to manage my personal life and then my insurance career… I weigh it out every year and there’s always been more good than bad. When there is a day there’s more bad than good, then I’m done… I don’t live, breathe and die a TV show,” Gunvalson revealed.
