After taking a longer hiatus than usual after season 5, the women of the Big Apple will be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City on Tuesday, March 11 at 9pm on Bravo. And of course, there have been some changes made to the cast.

Ramona Singer, Aviva Drescher, Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill will all be returning for the upcoming season.

The ladies will also be joined by new cast member Kristen Taekman, who is a former model and current owner of her own greeting card company called 2nd Street Press. She is married and is the mother of two children.

The Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, who has been a cast member since the first season, will be returning but in a lesser role as a “friend of the housewives.”

“I’m still on the show. I’m still very much a part of the show, but it’s not a full time thing,” LuAnn told E! News. “It’s very engulfing when you’re on it. It takes up all of your mental and physical energy.”

But from what it looks like, it doesn’t take long for Kristen to get involved in the drama. Judging by the preview, it seems like she makes an enemy of the Queen Bee of NYC, Ramona Singer.

What else is in store for this season? Well, Ramona has to send her only daughter off to college, Aviva and Carole’s friendship may be on the rocks and the women take a “glamping” trip to the Berkshires in Montana.
