Kelly Bensimon didn't exactly come across as a fan favorite when she joined The Real Housewives of New York City. During the second season reunion special, Bethenny Frankel, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin revealed they would vote Kelly off the show if they had the chance. Additionally, Bravo's poll, in which users were asked which New York Housewife should be taken out of the series, showed that Kelly overwhelmingly garnered over 80 percent of the votes, with Ramona coming in second with a little less than 10 percent. Not surprisingly, rumors surfaced that Kelly would not be returning for the third season of The Real Housewives of New York City.

While a Bravo rep declined to comment on Kelly's status, the network has already sent out a casting notice for the upcoming season, which seemingly fueled Kelly's exit rumors even further.

"Are you a woman living in one of the most exclusive areas of New York who has to juggle their career, home life, and a jam-packed social calendar full of charity fund-raising galas, Hampton parties and nights on the New York social scene?" the notice reads in part. "Casting producers are interested in meeting immediately!"

"We're always looking for new and interesting characters and to keep the show fresh," the network rep said. "There are so many stories to tell and we want to keep topping ourselves every season."

In spite of the buzz, Kelly has made it perfectly clear that she'll be back--if Bravo wants her again, that is.

"I think it would be really fun to come back for another season," she told Wednesday at the 2009 H&M Fashion Against AIDS Collection in NYC. "I really enjoyed all the women -- I think they're all so unique. I really enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them."
