You don't have to worry about a BFF breakup when it comes to Real Housewives of New York City stars Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan.

While the status of their friendship may have seemed a little unclear after last week's episode when Ramona attacked Sonja because Heather Thomson didn't invite her to London, Ramona states they were simply going through the ups and downs of a normal friendship.

"Good friends are allowed to speak and say what they feel when they're feeling rotten, that's my opinion. I think Sonja backed me up on that," Ramona told US Magazine. "I think she was shocked by what I was saying because she really had no idea. At that point, she had no idea that Heather had invited everyone [to London] but me. So she really didn't know any of the situation."

Although Ramona had some unkind words to say about Sonja, including calling her an "airhead," Sonja defends her friend's behavior.

"That moment with Ramona acually made me cry. Because I know Ramona doesn't really feel that way about me," Sonja wrote in her Bravo blog. "She was really hurt that she was not included and displaced her anger on me. Not sure why because she doesn't know Heather well but that doesn't change the pain Ramona is feeling."

Sonja also offered some insight on what it means to be friends with someone as bat-sh*t crazy eccentric as Ramona.

"Being friends with Ramona means knowing how she is and how she operates. One has to accept the way that she is or not be in a relationship with her," Sonja blogged. "It doesn't make her a bad person. Rewarding bad behavior doesn't work either. One has to draw boundaries with Ramona. That's why Ramona and I are still good friends and respect each other in the end."

Ramona seems to agree that here is mutual trust and respect between the two NYC housewives.

"Sonja's always going to be my great friend," Ramona told US Magazine. "Sonja and I can fight like dogs and make up the next day like pussycats, you know? That's just the way we are."
