The queen of reality TV and skinny margaritas, Bethenny Frankel, is expanding her repertoire with a new gig as a talk show host. The New York Times reports that the former Real Housewives of New York City and Bethenny Ever After star is being given a chance to star on her own talk show, backed by Warner Brothers and Fox.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

The daytime show, titled simply Bethenny for now, will air on weekdays for six weeks this summer on select Fox-owned stations throughout the country. If the trial period is a success and the "companies involved are pleased," Bethenny could become a regular program in the fall of 2013.

Distributors attempted to release the show on a wider range, but found it difficult due to the high congestion of other big names such as Katie Couric and Ricki Lake also lobbying for new talk shows. Hence, the tryout period to see if Bethenny can pull it off (and really, if she can make it to the finals on Skating With the Stars, what can't she do?).

"She's one of the most talked about personalities out there," president of Telepictures, Hilary Estey McLoughlin, told the New York Times. "She's had late-in-life success, which I think makes her a real role model for woman."

Bethenny tweeted yesterday, "BREAKING NEWS: The queen of too much information is coming to DAYTIME!" She also tweeted thanks to Telepictures as well as Ellen Degeneres, who is producing the show and has been a strong supporter of Bethenny getting her own show.

The final season of Bethenny Every After will air in February and will be wrapped in June, which is when the talk show makes its debut. Besides the normal "girl talk" format, the show will include some "reality TV" behind-the-scenes moments. Bethenny will also continue to make regular appearances on Ellen.

In related news, former RHONYC cast mate Jill Zarin is probably somewhere pulling her extensions out and weeping.
