Kevin Maher, also known as Danielle Staub's ex and author of the book Cop Without a Badge," continues to speak about the most controversial cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. This time, he's stating that Danielle's life is in danger.

"She helped put a couple of big-time Colombian coke dealers in jail," Kevin told Star. "These are dangerous men who never forget...and they could be back out on the street now. It's mind-boggling to me that she'd put herself at risk!"

"I can't believe Danielle would have allowed herself to go on TV -- on a series that basically shows where she lives! -- given what she has done in the past," he added.

Kevin is of course referring to Danielle's criminal past ---she was arrested by the FBI in June 1986 for holding a man they blamed for a botched cocaine deal for $25,000 in ransom. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has denied the accusations, claiming she was only an "accessory" in the incident, never worked as a prostitute and never had a cocaine problem. On the other hand, the documents filed in Miami's U.S. District Court prove that her involvement in the incident was far from "minimal."

The documents even state that Daniel went so far as to place a phone call to the man's father to ask for the money -- and threatened "injury or death" to the man if it wasn't delivered. The documents also reveals that she was arrested at a Miami apartment, where police discovered six kilos of cocaine and $16,000 cash, and that she cooperated with the FBI in exchange for a more lenient punishment.

The documents seem to confirm several accusations made about Danielle in Cop Without a Badge and brought to light by her co-stars on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. It's no wonder Jacqueline Laurita has already cut ties with Danielle while the rest of the cast members remain aloof with her.
