On this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga confronted some pot-stirrer named Penny about why she was spreading rumors about her cheating on her husband. Penny continued to live up to her reputation as it's been on the show thus far and threw Teresa Giudice under the bus, saying that she's been feeding her information about Melissa to make public.

And of course, Teresa denies having anything to do with Penny, claiming that she is being set up, yet again, like she was last year at the Posche fashion show when the rumor was spreading that Melissa had been a stripper.

"I'm definitely not happy to see where this season is going based on how Melissa and Joey are reacting to the rumors," Teresa wrote on her Bravo blog. "It's all my fault again. I get it. It's easier to blame their own sister/sister-in-law than it is to blame a stranger."

Teresa claims that it's easier to blame her in the situation because her sister-in-law and brother are always looking for a way to villainize her. She also says it's easier to go after a family member because family always forgives.

"I don't like it but I can't do anything about it," she wrote. "They are going to believe what they want to believe. Their beliefs make no sense to me -- they don't believe Penny one minute and the next they do. Pick one!"

Teresa says she doesn't understand why Penny would say one thing at the Milania Haircare party and then change her story the next time she got the chance.

"They already confronted Penny and she told them I had nothing to do with it. But it wasn't enough for them. They had to keep going after her. Why? And when they did, suddenly Penny changed her mind that I had something to do with it. Why would she suddenly do that? Why didn't she say that when I was right in front of her?"

When all is said and done, Teresa seems to feel quite defeated by the whole situation.

"It's how they've chosen to deal with this and I can't seem to stop them. I've done everything I could possibly do, and now I'm done. Done."

Melissa, on the other hand, doesn't seem so eager to take Penny for her word after their conversation.

"Penny was pretty open with us about who she'd been talking to about me, but she is hardly a reliable source," Melissa wrote on her Bravo blog. "As you can see I was very skeptical about her. I asked my questions and she gave me her answers. Whether those answers were just another flat out lie, we didn't know. There was Penny's side and Teresa's side. The truth was probably somewhere in the middle."

Even if Penny was telling the truth, Melissa doesn't think that this is something they can't get past.

"Penny's news that night wasn't earth-shattering for Joe and me. When I decided I was going to let go of the past issues with Teresa, I pretty much knew what I was moving on from."
