Season 4 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey ended on a sour note with members of the Gorga family threatening to beat each other up at the reunion and Teresa Giudice finding herself with absolutely zero allies. Now it's time for a fresh start with season 5, which premieres Sunday at 8pm on Bravo.

There wouldn't be much point to another season if the ladies of RHONJ were just going to bring you more of the same. Although all of the cast members are the same as the last two seasons, including Teresa, Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile, it does seem that there is an element of hope to finally mending all of the damaged relationships.

According to Bravo, season 5 will be all about the ladies' missions for redemption. It also coincides with Hurricane Sandy hitting the East Coast, which creates a sense of community re-building to bring the ladies together.

Teresa wants to take a more serious approach for the sake of her kids, her parents and for herself to mend her relationship with her brother and sister-in-law Melissa. Meanwhile, Melissa is struggling to create an identity for herself outside her husband's family drama. Teresa's cousin Kathy also tries to launch a career as a business owner now that her two kids are growing up and moving out.

In the Laurita family, Jacqueline struggles to cope with her son's autism diagnosis while trying to keep an even-head about her feud with her former BFF, Teresa. Caroline deals with family issues, which include rumors of her husband's infidelity. She also tries to shed her image as a bully.

And then, of course, there is the big blowup that happened in late March that will probably end up concluding the season. The fight at the Posche boutique that involved Jacqueline, her husband, Chris Laurita, and Melissa's husband, Joe Gorga, may even land them assault charges.

Other than the family drama and the possible addition to their rap sheets, there are other things to consider, like Melissa's blonde hair (and what looks likes the addition of about an inch to her forehead). And Jacqueline's neck lift and tummy tuck. And Kathy's new face.

Plus, it looks like all of our favorite rag-tag Jersey kids are back. Milania seems to have picked up some new stripper moves, Ashley Ashlee's back from the West Coast with a new nose and Lauren Manzo is skinny now because of her lap-band. Oh, Real Housewives of New Jersey: don't ever change.
