It seems the closer we get to The Real Housewives of New Jersey
season 4 reunion, the more ridiculous the drama is getting between the cast members. Yesterday, Teresa Giudice threatened to call the cops
on Jacqueline Laurita; now she is calling out Melissa Gorga for lying about being physically assaulted by her.
"I went with a smile on my face," Melissa told Us Weekly
last week about an incident that happened at Teresa's daughter's birthday party back in January. "I didn't have any intention of making up, but I went for my kids. At the end of the night, I had my son Joey in my arms and Teresa grabbed my arm and twisted it as hard as she could and said, 'You're so fake.'"
Now, according to the Huffington Post
, Teresa is completely denying this ever happened and is even threatening to sue Melissa for the false statement.
"I usually don't comment on stories about me, but I cannot ignore Melissa Gorga's vicious lie that I assaulted her at my own children's birthday party while she was holding my baby nephew," Teresa said. "It is completely untrue in every way. To make such a horrible accusation that involves our children is beyond despicable and speaks to her true character."
Other insiders are talking to the Huff Post
and completely back Teresa's story.
"This supposedly happened at Gia and Milania's very big, very public joint birthday party in January," an insider said. "It was a very public party with a hired photographer there. No one saw them do anything but talk. They didn't even hug because Melissa was holding her baby, so Teresa just kissed the baby. If anything had happened, why didn't Melissa immediately go to the press about it then? She puts every other little complaint on Twitter."
Bravo insiders also say that Melissa was the one who put her hands on Teresa at the reunion taping. Though I guess we'll have to wait and see what actually happens at the reunion when it airs this Sunday. Gina PusateriContributing Writer(Image courtesy of Bravo)
