The "Lost Footage," which aired last week, should have stayed hidden for so many reasons. While it did feature some never before seen scenes from the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, most of the footage was just good-humored nonsense ---and not the kind of mind-blowing drama you'd expect from these ladies.
In a nutshell, the show focused on the Manzo kids talking tattoos, Dina Manzo shopping for a new house (the budget is $3.5 million), Dina and daughter Lexie taking in the pig races at the New Jersey State Fair at the Meadowlands, and Dina's cat Grandma Wrinkles taking a bath. The big moment of the night was saved for the last three minutes: Danielle's best friend, a makeup artist, is tending to Danielle and says something to Teresa that sounds like "You should hear how stupid you sound on TV," and Teresa tells him to get away from her.
However, Bethenny Frankel, one of the cast members of The Real Housewives of New York City
, seemed to enjoy all the banter that went down on the special episode, even calling it "really enjoyable and fun to watch."
"This might possibly be the best episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey
ever. I think it is because we got to see the ladies interact with their families more, and in completely organic situations," Frankel wrote on her blog.
"I really love Caroline's family dynamic. Whenever they're on screen, I'm engaged. Caroline loves the gangster jargon, but not as much as she loves this family. Albie is definitely the most eligible bachelor in Franklin Lakes. I actually saw him and his sister in Atlantic City, and they really seemed like great kids," said Frankel of her favorite part of the Real Housewives of New York
