Lisa Hochstein has been very honest about her struggles with conceiving on the past two seasons of The Real Housewives of Miami. After trying fertility treatment for years and suffering through multiple miscarriages, Lisa and her husband, Lenny, have now decided to use a surrogate to start their family.

"After three miscarriages and four failed IVF tries, it was a nightmare," Lisa told In Touch Weekly.

But it wasn't an easy decision to make when it came to using a surrogate. Lisa told Lenny earlier this season that she wasn't comfortable having her "baby growing in some other woman's tummy." And even after they came to the decision, they faced more hardship.

"We thought we'd found the right person, but she had some personal issues and it didn't work out," Lisa said. "It was so disappointing."

Now Lisa and Lenny are back to square one, looking for someone to be a surrogate for them.

"It's scary," she said. "Obviously, I made a mistake last time because the woman didn't tell me she had problems. I'm going to be very hands-on. I'll want to know what she's doing at all times. I'll even send her food if she wants me to."

Despite how rough things have gotten for Lisa and Lenny, she remains determined to start a family.

"We will never give up," Lisa told In Touch. "I didn't always agree with going this route, but I'm in a much better place now and I can't wait anymore. It will happen -- a baby is coming next season."
