We haven't heard much about
The Real Housewives of Miami since the network
announced there would be a season 2 (after its lackluster premiere season) back in February. But now Bravo has officially announced the ladies of South Beach will be back in September.
Three of the returning cast members,
Adriana de Moura,
Lea Black and
Marysol Patton, will be joined by four new ladies which will make it the largest cast of the
Housewives franchise. Here's some info about the new cast:
Lisa Hochstein is married to the "Boob God" of Miami, Dr. Lenny Hochstein, and has appeared in
Playboy three times.
Karent Sierra is Miami's number one celebrity dentist who was crowned "Miss Carnival Miami" in 1992. She takes care of her retired parents and is dating telenovela star
Rodolfo Jimenez.
Joanna Krupa is a Polish model and one of
Maxim's "Hot 100" in 2011. She is also an actress, host of
Poland's Next Top Model and was a competitor on
Dancing With the Stars in 2009.
Ana Quincoces is a Cuban-American business woman who juggles being a partner at her law firm and being a celebrity chef/cookbook author. She has two daughters in their early 20's.
Alexia Echevarria will make in appearance but she will have a more minor role due to her ongoing efforts to help her son Frankie recover from a
serious car accident he was involved in last August. It also looks like fan favorite Elsa Patton, Marysol Patton's mother, will be returning to steal some more scenes and Drag Queen extraordinaire Elaine Lancaster will be making a few cameos.
While
Adriana promised season 2 would be their "best yet" back when they started filming in March, the trailer for the upcoming Miami shenanigans pretty much speaks for itself.
What do you think? Have the
RHOM gotten their groove back?
