After checking herself into a rehab facility in December,
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards missed the series' season two reunion taping.
In
clips from the special, Richards' co-stars, including sister Kyle, say that she's been doing well since seeking treatment, but that any further explanation should come from Richards herself.
And that's exactly what viewers will get in a new third segment of the reunion special. Today Bravo released a preview revealing that Andy Cohen filmed a sit-down interview with Kim after she left rehab just weeks ago.
In the preview (below), Cohen asks Richards why she entered treatment, and Richards admits, "I'm an alcoholic. I'm an alcoholic."
Richards denied having an alcohol problem at last year's
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 1 reunion. So it would seem that seeking treatment and admitting her addiction on national television are two huge steps for the struggling reality star; however, reports and rumors still
say it's unlikely Richards will return for the show's third season.
Richards' interview with Cohen will air in the third leg of the reunion special on February 13. The first part, which airs Monday, January 30, will feature the main cast, minus Kim. In part two on February 6, "FOH" (friend of the housewives) Brandi Glanville will jump into the mix.
