If you want to see celebrities diving into a pool, you don't need to wait until March 19. Following ABC's announcement of a new reality competition called Celebrity Diving, which will premiere Tuesday, March 19 at 8pm, FOX is beating them to the airwaves with a two-hour special on Wednesday, January 9 called Stars in Danger: The High Dive.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

That's right, two completely different celebrity diving shows will air this spring. The FOX special will be less of a competition and more of an event as eight celebrities take a crash course in diving techniques before competing in solo and synchronized dives.

Here is the cast of FOX's Stars in Danger: The High Dive

JWoww: Star of Jersey Shore

Kim Richards: Star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Kyle Richards: Star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Bethany Hamilton: Pro surfer and author and inspiration for Soul Surfer

Alexandra Paul: Former Baywatch star

David Chokachi: Former Baywatch star

Terrell Owens: Former NFL player

Antonio Sabato, Jr.: Actor, former underwear model and reality TV show staple

So if you want to see Antonio Sabato, Jr. in a speedo or the Richards sisters doing a synchronized dive, this is the show for you.

Stars in Danger: The High Dive is hosted by accomplished diver Troy Dumais who won a bronze medal at the London Olympics for synchronized diving.

While the FOX special is just for one night, ABC's Celebrity Diving will be a longer competition. The cast of celebrities has yet to be announced, though I have to imagine they will be of a slightly higher caliber than a bunch of reality TV stars. Celebrity Diving will feature Olympic diving legend Greg Lougains as a judge as well as David Boudia who won gold and bronze at the London Olympics.

Are you excited for two celebrity diving shows? Will you watch one or both?
