It's not often you see reality TV stars hit a nerve or two but last night's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta delivered an emotional punch with Kandi's tragic story. If you're a fan of this show, you're already aware that she's about to walk down the aisle with fiancé AJ. In fact, she was about to have her engagement party, which never happened because of a tragic accident involving Kandi's fiance's nephew and her cousins.

They were all wounded in a head-on collision caused by a drunk driver, according to Kandi, who feels somewhat guilty for allowing them to go out of her house for spring break. "It makes me feel so bad because they were over at our house. We let them go out," Kandi said of her fiancé's nephew, who was still in the ICU and unresponsive, and her cousins, who were on crutches. "I try to be strong because I have to."

While Kandi's still heartbroken about the accident, she found a way to channel all her emotions with NeNe's silly alter-ego photo shoot. Kandi wasted no time expressing how she feels, even posing as a driving party gal and then as a victim of a drunk driver.

Meanwhile, the rest of the ladies on The Real Housewives of Atlanta provided the much-needed comic relief. Kim, who's always the subject of controversy, hired a new nanny for her kids following all the nanny drama the ensued the past weeks. What's funny is that she even says that she's pretty strict when it comes to her kids but leaves the hiring of the nanny to her personal assistant. She probably doesn't want to be "tardy for the party."

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs every Thursday at 10pm on Bravo.
