The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Could Things Be Over Between Kim and NeNe?
The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Could Things Be Over Between Kim and NeNe?
Friendship is a funny and fun thing, but you're not going to laugh if you've been the victim of a backstabbing blow.  You'd think things couldn't be worse than having someone you trust betray you, except there's actually something far horrible: seeing it on reality television.  This is one hard lesson learned by two of the ladies on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta.  It was the camaraderie of Kim and Nene which was greatly tested, all because of a little music and alcohol.

During the last episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Deshawn, Kim and Nene went out to dinner with their spouses.  The rift was caused because NeNe had too much to drink, leading her to make fun of Kim and her country singing career.  Everyone was laughing at the song NeNe created on the spot, which consisted of lyrics like “I'm 29 but I look 89.”  You can see how this probably damaged Kim's ego, especially when NeNe belted out “Dallas Austin is helping me because of my mannnnn.”  Things weren't as heated until Lisa told Sheree about it, and she told Kim.

With that, Sheree and Kim then developed a new friendship, getting closer and closer with Botox sessions and spa days.  They have to face it; the only reason for their bond is that they feed one another's egos.  In the end, all the housewives complained about NeNe and her critical comments.  They're blaming her for badmouthing and gossiping about everyone in their circle, and the drama continued with a text message.  Kim decided to tell NeNe “to stay the hell out of my life” and even called her a “low-budget b----.”

It seems as though it was the final straw for NeNe and Kim, and the next episode will surely be filled with more tension.  Tomorrow at 10pm, Bravo airs “Dream a Little Nightmare,” in which we see how Kim and Sheree keep their friendship going with a boating trip.  Heading to Georgia lake, the two try to get away and focus on Sheree's clothing line.

Meanwhile, a lonely NeNe deals with paternal-identity issues and thinks of pursuing a DNA test.  We might be seeing a battle royal once more, since DeShawn decided to invite everyone to a sunset barbecue – including the hotheaded Kim and NeNe.
