NeNe Leakes started this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta paying for cars with "cash money" and claiming that she is a "very rich bitch" ever since she appeared on last season's cycle of Celebrity Apprentice.

"While you were running your mouth, I was running to the bank, depositing a Trump check," she told co-star Sheree Whitfield on the first episode of the season. She even spent an episode looking at a $9 million home in Miami.

But now, Donald Trump Jr. is telling Wetpaint that if NeNe is rich, it has nothing to do with getting any checks from his father, Donald Trump.

"Honestly, I have no idea," Don Jr. said when asked about NeNe's newfound claim to wealth. "All the celebrities on the show play for charity. She received a small appearance fee, sure, but that was it."

Still, could NeNe be getting checks from the Donald doing other work for any of his numerous businesses?

"As far as I know, she's not involved with any of our other businesses or corporations," Don Junior added. "So I'm not sure what she's talking about."

According to RealityTea.com, the exact appearance fee for starring on the Celebrity Apprentice is an unknown, but former contestant Piers Morgan, who starred on the show in 2008, revealed that he received about $25,000 to do the show.

Although that may seem like a nice chunk of change to some of us, it's a couple of million short of making NeNe "very rich."
