How has being on this show changed your life so far?
I'm recognized a lot, and that's great. And I'm getting a lot of wonderful emails from people saying that I inspire them. To me, it's just really touching that I'm inspiring somebody to either want to do better or be better. That, to me, is awesome.
Has there been anything so far that you were upset that they didn't show something that you did, or upset that they did show something? Or do you have any regrets about what they've shown?
Right now, they're showing one facet of my personality, so I'm coming across as cold or mean. And I'm doing a lot of things: I'm a mom and I'm a daughter and I'm a sister and I'm a friend. Right now, none of that's being shown. I'm not really shown with my sister or with my business. But hopefully, all that will come. Hopefully, all that will come.
You're starting your own fashion line, or you have started it. How do you exactly balance? With kids and starting your own business and doing all these other things, I'm wondering if you can talk more about all these different endeavors that you're in.
Well, you know, I've had my own business before, I had a boutique. And opening my own boutique, my main objective was: create my own fashion line. But I cannot do that, run the business, manage the house as well as the kids and my husband. So, I closed the boutique, and I'm focusing on the clothing line, 100 percent. But still, I'm a very active mom. I do the football practice, I do the ballet and the friends and the drama. So I'm still very active in my kids' life, and I think that's very important, you know.
Having gone through this process now of doing The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the first season, would you agree to go through this and do this again?
I would totally agree to do this again. I'm having a great time. I've met some wonderful people, and I'm having a good time doing it. And if I can inspire other people, other women, other men, I think I'm doing something great, you know.
