If you're looking forward to see frenemies NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak Biermann hitting the road together on their own spinoff series, don't hold your breath. Bravo has canceled NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches.
"The network is not moving forward with the show," a Bravo spokesperson tells People
Both Leakes and Zolciak Biemann were supposed to serve as executive producers of NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches
which is essentially about "Atlanta's most driven housewives driving out their comfort zones and across the country to discover America on a one-of-a-kind adventure."
"Well, one of the things I'm most excited about is working with Kim, just the two of us," Leakes told E! News
after her spinoff was announced. "I just left Housewives
where I was working with like, six monsters."
"It will be good not having anyone interfering with NeNe and I. We're back to where we started 12 years ago, no other noise," Zolciak Biemann said. "No other people talking nonsense. It will just be her and I and we have a really good time."
So why did Bravo pull the plug on NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches? According to an insider, "the show is on hold indefinitely due to scheduling conflicts."
Leakes, who recently announced her departure on The Real Housewives of Atlanta
, is currently serving as one of the panelists on ABC's To Tell the Truth
, a reboot of the 1960s game show in which several people claim to be the same person while celebrity panelists try to decipher who is telling the truth. The 43-year-old reality star may also occasionally surface on the Bravo series that made her famous. Zolciak-Biermann, on the other hand, is busy with her Bravo show Don't Be Tardy
