Eugene Young is portrayed by Steve Harris in the Emmy Award-winning legal drama series
The Practice. He starts out working as an attorney for Bobby Donnell, and later on progresses to the position of senior partner. He used to work as a private investigator before becoming a lawyer, and is no stranger to the strong-arm tactics needed on the street. At one point in his life, he was a victim of racial profiling, having been beaten by the police for matching the general description of a suspect. He is strongly and firmly devoted to the strict letter of the law, even more so than Jimmy and Bobby, and has had his life influenced by the death of his older brother in prison.
