Kelli Williams is an American television actress born on June 8, 1970 in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of a plastic surgeon and actress Shannon Wilcox, though her parents divorced when she was 13 years old. She began her acting career by appearing in commercials when she was a baby, and was later on approached by a talent agent after her performance onstage in a Beverly Hills High School adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. She has appeared in a number of television series, among them Ally McBeal, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, and Third Watch. She has also acted in films such as Mr. Jones and There Goes My Baby.

Lindsay Dole is played by Kelli Williams in the Emmy Award-winning legal drama series The Practice. She works as a partner at the firm and is Bobby's on-again, off-again ex-girlfriend, before the two of them eventually marry later on. She is terrorized and stalked by three mentally unstable clients over the course of her career, one of whom she accidentally shot and killed in self-defense, and was subsequently put on trial for. She and Bobby have a child, though she divorces him after she finds him having an affair with another woman.
