On last Wednesday's The Originals the common phrase, "The truth will set you free," was shown to not be foolproof. When Klaus found out about Rebekah and Marcel's betrayal, he vowed to hunt them down. He didn't give any consideration to Rebekah's attempt to stop what she had already started. In "Le Grand Guignol," his resolve will be tested.
The official synopsis: In a series of flashbacks to 1919, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) opens up to Cami (Leah Pipes) and reveals details of the devastating secret Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) were trying to keep from him. Elijah (Daniel Gillies) forms an unlikely alliance with Monique (guest star Yasmine Al Bustami) and asks for her help in locating Sabine (guest star Shannon Kane.) Elsewhere, Thierry (guest star Callard Harris) is reluctant to get involved when Marcel and Rebekah approach him with a plan to take down the witches. Meanwhile, in the bayou, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is at her wits' end and holds Sabine hostage in an attempt to get information that will reverse the curse on Phoebe's werewolf clan.

Marcel want to run and leave town with Rebekah. She believes Klaus will chase them until he finds them. Klaus tells Elijah, "They will pay for this."
Given Klaus' history with Katherine and Tyler, he'd likely go after them, though perhaps they could find a way to avoid capture. Marcel refuses to leave Rebekah behind.
"Le Grand Guignol" sneak peek
In 1919, Klaus goes to a club where vampires, werewolves, witches and cops all party together. Is there any way that New Orleans could embrace that integration again?
The Originals airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on the CW.
