Brad Pitt on Oprah: Shiloh Wants Name Changed to John

oprahBrad Pitt, who has been cited as one of the world's most attractive men, has certainly shifted from A-list actor to certified family man now that he has a brood of six children ranging in age from four months to seven years with actress Angelina Jolie.  While his off-screen life has been widely reported by the media, he'll be shedding more light onto it as he makes a guest appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show today.

In the interview, Pitt tells the Queen of Talk that fatherhood has made him “hard as nails.”  Moreover, he also made a hilarious admission to Oprah regarding two-and-a-half year-old daughter Shiloh's latest quirk.

"She only wants to be called John.  John or Peter.  So it's a Peter Pan thing," said Brad Pitt on Oprah.  "So we've got to call her John . 'Shi, do you want ...' – 'John. I'm John.'  And then I'll say, 'John, would you like some orange juice?'  And she goes, 'No!' So, you know, it's just that kind of stuff that's cute to parents, and it's probably really obnoxious to other people."

Besides Shiloh's desire to have her name changed, Pitt also reveals how much his life has changed since being a father.  In fact, quick outings are things of the past, according to the 44-year-old star of the soon-to-be-released The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

"We don't go to the mall," Pitt said, adding that preparing for a car trip is an adventure unto itself. "It's like a half-an-hour just to get everyone buckled in and make sure they've got their snacks, and Z.Z. [Zahara, 3] has got a blanket and Shiloh's got her silky."

"Angie's militant about it,” he added.  “She's right on top of it.  Thank God, because I'm always forgetting something."
