Most characters on The Office would often be seen just idling about at work, with some quite openly advertising their penchant for good old solitaire on their monitors.  With the popularity of social networking sites (otherwise known as distractions at work) such as Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter, some The Office fans might be wondering if the actors and characters have pages for these site.

Jenna Fischer, who plays receptionist Pam on the NBC comedy, says neither she or her love interest Jim, played by John Krasisnki, are on Facebook or Twitter, via her MySpace, which apparently she does have.  She likewise cautioned that those Facebook profiles who bear their names don’t belong to them, and that they are fake.

Fischer, 34, moreover reveals that office kiss-up Dwight, played by Rainn Wilson, and perky, bubbly customer service representative Kelly, played by Mindy Kaling, are both on Tweeter but only as their character.
