If there's any doubt left that Dwight is a sick, sick man, this should cover it.
The Office fans, are you a little bummed that Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) diabolical plan to bring Jim (John Krasinski) down is on hold for the holidays? He explains why on his newly launched - and explicitly titled -
Diabolical Blog.
"If literature, television, and motion pictures have taught us anything, it's that nefarious intentions during the Christmas season are always foiled," he writes. "Not only that, but it seems as though the sinister one always learns to love the one he wishes harm."
In other words, the plan is put on hold because traditionally, they fail during the holidays.
Dwight unveiled his "diabolical plan" intended to get Jim fired on "Scott's Tots, a plan that Ryan (BJ Novak) eventually wanted to be part of (Jim had him locked up for not working when they learned of potentially facing bankruptcy). But the plan was hatched a long time ago, since Jim's promotion almost, which kicked off with, among others, putting a bugging device in a pen on Jim's table and getting him start an Employee of the Month program.
On The Diabolical Blog, Dwight explained these steps in detail. "I have attacked my enemy before, but this plot is different; I want to betray him," he writes on why he's attending Jim's wedding. "I'll be there, forcing a smile while he says dumb things about his dumb wife. I'll shake his hand. Raise my glass... Then, in time, when his back it turned and he least expects it - BAM! SCHRUTE FORCE ATTACKS! I watch him crumble as I take his position and listen to him as he cries, "Et tu, Schrut-e?!"
His other entries run in congruence with
The Office plotlines, citing the bankruptcy storyline, giving the DM peeps bagels, and Ryan getting wind of the plan and joining him.
