Perhaps to the disappointment of a lot of The Office fans, executive producer Greg Daniels tells Entertainment Weekly that the much-anticipated wedding between Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) will not be happening this season.  This doesn't mean, however, that their relationship won't be moving forward.

"If people assume it'll happen this season, then I don't want to do it," he countered with a laugh.  "There are so many stories about a couple getting married that I want to explore."

Daniels reveals, however, that Pam will realize something on the special hour-long post-Super Bowl episode this Sunday.  Apparently, after learning that her parents are having marital problems, Pam starts pondering on whether it really is worth it, prompting her to ask, "If they can't make it work, what chance do Jim and I have?"

After the special episode on Sunday called “Stress Relief,” The Office will return to its original timeslot, Thursdays 9pm on NBC.
