Roy Anderson of NBC's The Office is played by David Denman. A warehouse dock worker at the Scranton branch of paper distributor Dunder-Mifflin, Roy was previously engaged to office receptionist Pam Beesly for three years. Prior to that, they were dating for eight years, a fact that branch manager Michael Scott always made fun of.

An enthusiastic sports fan, Roy brought along his brother on his first date with Pam at a minor league hockey game. The brothers later forgot she was with them and thus left the game without her.

Roy is not much into office parties if it is not held at open bars. He is often bored and admitted to wanting to "do" Angela, despite having Pam as his fiancé. An inconsiderate and ill-mannered man, he constantly refused to let Pam apply to a company training program to hone her artistic talents.

Pam called off their engagement because she was in love with Jim Halpert, her officemate. After Pam cancelled their engagement, Roy threw his life away by not taking care of himself, binge drinking and eventually encountering trouble with the law after getting caught driving under the influence. This became his wake up call and he regained his will to win Pam back. He realized how much he neglected her in the past, and thus was determined to clean up his act. At Phyllis wedding, he talked to Pam about their relationship and even paid Kevin Malone's band, Scrantonicity, $20 to play Roy and Pam's song. The two then danced and left the wedding together. However, their reunion was brief as Pam revealed to Roy that she kissed Jim on Casino Night. This enraged Roy, who started throwing shot glasses. Pam immediately called off the relationship.

Developing resentment for Jim, Roy attempted to beat him up, but was prevented by Dwight with pepper spray. After getting fired from the office, Roy apologized to Jim, who accepted his apology.
