Angela Kinsey as Angela Martin

Angela Martin of NBC's The Office is played by Angela Kinsey. The head of the accounting department at paper products distributing company, Dunder Mifflin, Scranton branch, Angela is a judgmental and uptight woman who frowns upon all frivolous activity in the office. She is very open about her disapproval of the flirtation going on between receptionist Pam Beesly and co-worker Jim Halpert. However, she herself is in a secret relationship with salesman Dwight Schrute.

Aside from being the head of the accounting department, Angela is also the office safety officer, who is constant source of complaints gathered by the human resource department. Whenever she makes a mistake, she passes on the blame to others, adding up an insult on top of that. She tends to bottle up her emotions and have sudden emotional outbursts over trivial matters.

In response to what book she would bring to a deserted island Angela replied, the Bible and A Purpose Driven Life on a desert island. She would also like to bring The Da Vinci Code so she could burn it, as she was showing signs of being a Fundamentalist Christian.

Angela has a sister she hasn't spoken to in 16 years, but she does not remember why they fought and lost contact over the years.

She also shows some signs of being obsessive-compulsive, as she needs things to be perfect. She heads the party planning committee strictly, and dislikes suggestions from members of the committee. An authoritarian, she is often not in good terms with Phyllis Lapin, to whom she passed on the blame of having red streamers during Meredith's party, even if she knew it was her fault.

Aside from having a relationship with Dwight, she harbors a secret crush on Roy, whom she admits she would choose over Dwight. She used to have a dislike for the gay Oscar, but the two have reconciled upon his return from a European trip.
