
Good news for Shannon Lucio fans. After being cast and replaced by Sophia Myles on the upcoming CBS drama pilot
Moonlight, the 27-year-old former actress of
The O.C. will be featured on the big screen in the upcoming movie
Feast of Love.
Lucio, who grabbed the romantic attention of
Ben McKenzie's character as Lindsay Gardner on
The O.C., will star alongside Morgan Freeman, Greg Kinnear and Selma Blair in a romantic drama based on the novel by Charles Baxter of the same name.
Directed by the Academy Award-winning Robert Benton,
Feast of Love focuses on a community of friends in Oregon as it explores on love and its various incarnations. This thoroughly modern version of a
Midsummer Night's Dream touches facets of drama, humor, mystery and sadness as stories interweave into a romantic tale.
Following her stint on
The O.C., Lucio scored several film and television projects. She was cast in the tele-pic
Spring Break Shark Attack as Danielle Harrison and became part of the drama
A House Divided. On the silver screen, she landed one of the lead roles in
Youthanasia and played a high school teen in the action-adventure comedy flick
Graduation.
Aside from Lucio's upcoming film, fans can catch the former
O.C. actress in
Say Goodnight, a comedy movie about three guys who tell a friend stories of how they met the loves of their lives, and how they managed to completely screw up the relationships. Set for release this year, the film also stars Rob Benedict, Christopher Gessner, and David Monahan. Additionally, she'll be taking on the role of Ryne Waechter in the semi-autobiographical drama
Fireflies in the Garden, featuring Julia Roberts and Ryan Reynolds.
