Tim Daly isn't falling for the hype surrounding the new ABC series The Nine, in which Daly plays Nick Cavanaugh, one of nine former strangers who are taken hostage following a bank robbery gone wrong, and whose lives are forever changed as a result.
"I've been around long enough to realize a lot of advance hype, and four and a half dollars will buy you a cup of Starbucks coffee," Daly said. "We'll see. In today's climate we'll find out real quickly if we're a hit." The Nine premieres October 4 on ABC.
