American actress Jessica Collins was born on March 8, 1983 in San Antonio, Texas. She attended Tom C. Clark High School and graduated in 2001. She later attended the prestigious Juilliard School for theatre, graduating in 2004. While there, she landed the lead role in their graduation production. Her family has always been supportive of the performing arts, because of their increasing involvement in it. Jessica is one of four sisters who have dabbled in the entertainment industry, and the rest of her siblings are talented as well. Her sister Jennifer is a model, Kellys is a singer in Nashville, while the youngest, Sallie, acted in theatre productions while she was in high school.
Jessica Collins didn’t wait to jumpstart her career. In 2005, she was immediately cast in the series Ghost Whisperer, portraying the character Natalie Harper on an episode titled “Ghost, Interrupted.” This enabled her to work alongside celebrities like Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad, and Jay Mohr. Collins was next seen on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, as Nikki Newsome. Soon enough, she joined the cast of the short-lived ABC drama series The Nine. She portrayed the character Lizzie Miller, a social worker. Her co-stars include Lourdes Benedicto, John Billingsley, Tim Daly, Chi McBride, Dana Davis and Camille Guaty. In 2007, Collins was cast as the recurring character Natalie Davis on the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The episodes she has appeared in were titled “Dead Doll” and “Living Doll.” She has also been involved in the pilot presentation, The Man. In 2008, she signed on to work with director Jodie Markell and writer Tennessee Williams for the movie The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. The film stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Evans, Ellen Burstyn and Zach Grenier. Collins also boasts of her abilities to perform using Spanish, Australian, Southern, Midwest, Irish, French, British accents.
