Joshua Adam Garcia or JAG is a 25-year old chef from Havelock, North Carolina. A former marine, JAG studied at The New York Restaurant School and is currently the chef de cuisine at a French fusion restaurant. An avid fan of Chinese food, he can’t live without it, as well as rice and burgers. His specialty is a mix of Italian and French cooking with a Latino Caribbean influence. His favorite Food Network chef is Bobby Flay and his favorite Food Network show is the Japanese version of Iron Chef. He lists Marcello Russodivito, Greg Steyskal, Hiroyuki Sakai and Mario Batali as his culinary inspirations.

Joshua Adam Garcia is one of the eleven finalists on the reality cooking show, The Next Food Network Star.
