Amy Finley is a 33-year old freelance writer/caterer and mother of two from San Diego, California. Finley is a product of the Gregoire Ferrandi's Ecole Superieure de Cuisine Francaise in France and cites Julia Child and French grandmothers as her culinary inspirations. Her favorite Food Network chef is Giada De Laurentiis and her favorite Food Network shows are Everyday Italian and Food 911. Indian cuisine is her specialty and she can’t live without steak, cheese and chocolate.

Amy Finley is one of the eleven finalists on the reality cooking competition, The Next Food Network Star.
