On last Sunday's episode of
The Next Food Network Star, the final three contestants headed to Vegas where they met up with Bobby Flat and Guy Fieri. They each had to complete a 30 second promo video, set in a prominent Vegas location. The finalists also had to prepare a buffet to serve to some of the best entertainers in Vegas.
Aaron,
Adam, and
Lisa all had great moments but they also each struggled in key areas such as presentation and food preparation. When it was time for the selection committee to deliberate, they could not reach a decision and, for the first time, decided to send all three to the finale. Today, Aaron, Adam, and Lisa spoke to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview, dishing on each other, the judges, and their best moments this season! Read on to hear what they had to say.
Aaron said that his wife encouraged him to try out for
The Next Food Network Star, saying that she thought he had the personality for it. He sent in his demo and heard back pretty quickly and before he knew it, he was on the show.
Though Adam had a lot of jokes that went over well this season, he had an equal amount that fell flat. He maintains that his most embarrassing moment was actually a dish that he cooked, the fish that the judges spit out. He also said that his prat fall on the boat that no one laughed at was also up there.
Lisa said that people have the wrong idea about her. Her intensity comes from her competing with herself, not her fellow contestants. She said that she truly adores Adam and Aaron but went through some emotional times on the show because she missed her loved ones so much.
After each contestant dished on their favorite season, Aaron was asked who the hardest judge to impress was. Aaron and Lisa agreed that it was Bob Tuschman but Adam maintained that it was Bobby Flay. Lisa said that the hardest part about being on the show was the shooting schedule and not having any way to decompress. Adam said that grew a lot during this competition, especially since he was thrown into situations he had never been in before. He called The Next Food Network Star "a tremendous learning experience."
We'll find out who wins season 4 of
The Next Food Network Star this Sunday night!
