Hurricane
Sandy continues to wreak havoc on TV. Following a Monday night where
CBS and the CW aired reruns due to coverage of the East Coast storm, NBC
and ABC announced that Tuesday night will bump some of their scheduled
new episodes to cover the hurricane.
Both NBC and ABC will air one-hour specials on Hurricane Sandy at 10pm, bumping previously scheduled episodes of
Go On and
The New Normal on NBC and
Private Practice on ABC. The shows have yet to be rescheduled.
It will be particularly unusual for NBC to reschedule
The New Normal as it was a Halloween-themed episode. Monday's preempted
Hawaii Five-0 was also a Halloween episode. Now it seems both episodes will air well after Halloween.
This makes 13 shows that have been preempted due to Hurricane Sandy
