CBS comedies The New Adventures of Old Christine and Gary Unmarried will both wrap up their respective seasons tonight.

The two have been picked up by CBS for another season.  ABC was previously in talks with Warner Bros., which produces Old Christine, to pick up the comedy should CBS cancel it.  CBS reported yesterday, however, that the series was renewed for a 22-episode fifth season.  As for Gary Unmarried, executive producers Ed Yeager and Ric Swartzlander left the show for "creative differences," but the rookie comedy was still picked up for a second season.

On tonight's finale of Old Christine - "Love: A Cautionary Tale" - Christine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) learns some shocking news about New Christine's (Emily Rutherford) father (Scott Bakula) after the two of them rekindle their relationship at Richard's (Clark Gregg) and New Christine's wedding.

On Gary Unmarried's closer, meanwhile, Gary (Jay Mohr) fixes Allison's (Paula Marshall) garbage disposal, and he and Allison find each other in the bedroom repeatedly.

Recently on New Adventures of Old Christine, Christine ran into an old rival of hers from elementary school, and their encounter was short and Christine got her revenge. At New Christine and Richard's wedding rehearsal, Christine took him as a date to make Richard jealous. During their time at the rehearsal Christine realized she was jealous and uncomfortable that Richard was getting remarried, but was able to feel genuinely happy for him.

On Gary Unmarried, on the other hand, Gary was forced to become the adult when his half-brother Mitch moved in with him after returning from the war.  He lost control of the kids and the house.
