variety of serious dramas, primetime soaps, sci-fi thrillers and
comedies. There are shows starring

DRAMAS666 Park Ave: A young couple agrees to manage a NYC apartment building where supernatural things occur. The show stars Terry O'Quinn and Vanessa Williams (
Desperate Housewives) as the married couple who own the building, Dave Annable (
Brothers and Sisters) and Rachael Taylor (
Charlie's Angels,
Grey's Anatomy) as the couple managing it and One Tree Hill's Robert Buckley as a tenant.
It's also the sixth show from my Top 10 Pilots list to get picked up.
Last Resort: Created by
The Shield's Shawn Ryan, this show centers on a nuclear sub that goes rogue when the commander refuses to fire its nuclear missiles, leading to the crew forming their own independent nation. It stars Andre Braugher and
Felicity's Scott Speedman.
Nashville: This soap opera about country stars in Nashville, Tennessee with
Friday Night Lights and
American Horror Story star Connie Britton and
Heroes' Hayden Panettierre.
Red Widow: The widow of an assassinated criminal takes over his role in the crime syndicate to protect her family.
Zero Hour: The editor of a skeptics magazine (Anthony Edwards) gets embroiled in a massive conspiracy.
COMEDIESMalibu Country: Reba McEntire stars as a mom who moves her three kids and her mother (Lily Tomlin) to Malibu to start over.
Neighbors: A family moves to a New Jersey gated community where all of their neighbors are secretly aliens.
Family Tools: A man is forced to take over his dad's handyman business, starring Kyle Bornheimer (
Worst Week,
Perfect Couples) and Leah Remini (
The King of Queens).
How to Live with Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life: The description is there in the title, with
Scrubs star Sarah Chalke as the woman living with her parents (
Weeds' Elizabeth Perkins and
Everybody Loves Raymond's Brad Garrett).
