American film and television actress Nicholle Tom was born on March 23, 1978 in Hinsdale, Illinois. She is the sister of Emmy Award-winning thespians David Tom (Nicholle’s twin brother) and Heather Tom. Nicholle Tom has appeared in a number of TV series such as
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ,
Beverly Hills 90210 , and Justice League Unlimited as the voice of Supergirl. She has also acted in the movies Beethoven, The Sterling Chase, Panic, Ice Angel, The Princess Diaries, and Bottoms Up. In her spare time, she enjoys vintage clothes shopping, swimming, horseback riding, and relaxing with her dog Portia.
Margaret “Maggie” Sheffield is played by Nicholle Tom on the CBS sitcom The Nanny. The eldest child of the Sheffield family, she used to be an awkward and shy teenager, labeled a nerd and believing that no boy would ever fall for her. Under the streetwise guidance of her nanny Fran Fine, she slowly gained more self-confidence and grew into a smart young woman. Maggie grew close to Fran, sharing experiences with her such as having the same sadistic gym coach from Fran’s own school days, and helping get past her father’s overprotective ways. She eventually married an underwear model named Michael and moved to Paris with him.
