Marcie Ciscel Looks Back on Her Experiences on 'The Mole'

The anticipated fifth season of The Mole has finally arrived and fans clamored to see who will be the first person to leave the reality series, which involved a lot of high stakes competition and deceit.  This season, the first to go home was 31-year-old stay-at-home mother of three from Corona, California, Marcie Ciscel.  She recently talked to Reality TV World to share her thoughts on the competition and how she managed to get through the competition, despite being eliminated.

"It was an amazing opportunity and it was challenging -- extremely challenging -- mentally and physically," Marcie admitted in a conversation with Reality TV World.  "It would be great to stay, but I'm ready to go home."

Now that she is out of the competition, Marcie recalls her experiences in the brief stint she had, saying that it was one tough challenge to handle.

"Emotionally, this was a tough, tough game," she recalled.  "Things were being thrown at you at different ways at different times.  It was crazy.  I was emotionally, I was mentally drained.  I felt like I was going crazy."

Marcie wasn't originally interested in joining the show.  She went to an audition with a friend and ended up auditioning as well.  Nonetheless, she admits that she had been a fan of the show since the beginning.

"I've watched every single episode," Marcie admits.  "I don't think they were expecting me to be a huge fan, but they were asking questions and I knew exactly what they were talking about.  I love the show -- the fact that it's a mystery-solving adventure.  I love it. "

Coming off the grueling game, she says that she is ready to go back to leading a normal life.  In fact, she says that she will be preoccupied a lot more now that she has taken another job aside from being a full-time mother.

"I'm raising my boys and coaching soccer," Marcie said.  "I like to be active.  I don't know, we'll see where this takes me.  At first I was like, 'No, I just want to be home to raise my boys.  But after coming home...I don't know, I loved meeting all these other players.  I really cannot wait to see everybody again and all that.  I'll take it as it comes."
