FOX is keeping its schedule mostly similar for next season, but one big show is making a big move.
Glee will move to Thursdays at 9pm starting this fall, taking the coveted post-
X Factor time slot.
Returning dramas
Bones and
Fringe will keep their current time slots while Tuesdays will be dedicated to two hours of comedies.
The fall schedule will also include a trio of new shows.
The Mob Doctor: This dramas stars Jordana Spiro in the title role as, you guessed it, a mob doctor.
Ben and Kate: This sitcom starring Nat Faxon centers on a man who takes a job as the male nanny for his niece.
The Mindy Project: This comedy stars The Office's Mindy Kaling as a doctor looking for love.
In addition, FOX is saving two new shows for mid-season.
The Following: A drama from Kevin Williamson (
The Vampire Diaries, the
Scream films) stars Kevin Bacon as an ex-FBI agent investigating a serial killer who has formed a cult of serial killers.
The Goodwin Games: This comedy from the creators of
How I Met Your Mother centers on three kids whose father gives them his money if they follow his bizarre rules.
Mid-season will also bring the return of
American Idol (taking over for
The X Factor) and
Hell's Kitchen (which will air on Fridays, presumably taking over for Fringe after its shortened final season).
