Patti Stanger is back for another season of Bravo's hit documentary series,
The Millionaire Matchmaker. The owner of an elite Los Angeles-based matchmaking service will once again help millionaires find the women of their dreams. For the second season, however, there's a twist. Instead of giving wealthy men complete makeovers with the help of personal shoppers, date coaches and therapists, she'll be adding female and gay millionaire clients to the mix.
Previously a Director of Marketing for Great Expectations, the largest and oldest dating service in the United States, Stanger founded the company Millionaire's Club in January 2000. She has also authored a book to be released by Simon & Schuster in January 2009 entitled
BECOME YOUR OWN MATCHMAKER: 8 Easy Steps for Attracting Your Perfect Mate.
Each episode of
The Millionaire Matchmaker will feature two millionaires who are set up on dates hand-picked by Stanger based upon their beauty and intelligence. For the new season, several female millionaires are included on the slate, including an attractive 40-year-old CEO of a high-end fashion label. Stanger relates to her by shedding light on her experiences with "ageism" in the competitive Los Angeles dating scene.
As a firm believer that “everyone has the right to marry, no matter what," Stanger also signs on a gay millionaire, who owns a successful branding business.
Also returning for
The Millionaire Matchmaker are Stanger's vice president of matching,
Chelsea Autumn, and her former executive assistant,
Destin Pfaff, who has been promoted and given additional responsibilities.
Aside from matchmaking millionaires, Stanger has another task she has called upon herself to do this season. With Pfaff's girlfriend, Rachel, on board as the office's new assistant, she now has two longtime lovers under her nose and is determined to do everything she can to encourage Pfaff to pop the question.
Don't forget to catch
The Millionaire Matchmaker when it kicks off for a second season on Thursday, February 12 at 10pm ET/PT on Bravo.
