After the success of its first season, The Mentalist kicks off its second on a new time slot, Thursdays from 9pm, starting September 24 on CBS.  Patrick Jane is still hot on the Red John case, and Sam Bosco (Terry Kinney) is bound to make things complicated.  We have spoilers for The Mentalist if you're up to knowing details for upcoming details before everybody else.  Check back often as we post all The Mentalist spoilers that we can get, as we get it, when we get it.

Terry Kinney joins the cast as Sam Bosco, the head of CBI's Serial Crimes Unit who's worked previously (and had a relationship with) Detective Lisbon; he will appear for at least seven episodes.
