They've long been hinting about a dark secret between Bosco and Lisbon. He loves her? Possibly. Did they do something together? Maybe--the parallels between that secret and the other secret between Rigsby and Van Pelt is just irresistible. Did he kill someone, and she helped along, as Jane suggested? Possibly. But who really knows? It did open a new can of worms to play with--and suddenly Bosco is not the good person he claims to be, not by the book when he had Jane arrested.
But admittedly the most interesting bit from last week's episode was seeing Jane deal with a stint in jail. Not surprisingly, he gets the favors of a handful of inmates, but still, it's funny how he did it, really. Freak them out and just be friends with them? Oh, Jane, you are classic.
On
The Mentalist tonight, we get a chance to see Bosco and Jane work together. No, really. Not after all that jail drama, and all that blackmail? We were supposed to meet Jane's dad this week, but I don't mind waiting a bit longer.
Anyway, tonight, Minelli forces Team Lisbon and Bosco to play nice and work together. There is a case, after all: a woman has been kidnapped and is being held for ransom. Must be easy, because these kids can be professional--but, heck, all the secrets and possibilities tossed around last week will make that close to impossible. We should expect an implosion of sorts, yes?
The Mentalist returns tonight from 10pm on CBS. The photos, and possibly fake harmony, are down below.
