Charisma Carpenter Gets On 'The Lying Game'
A Sunnydale resident is out to mix up things in Phoenix.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Charisma Carpenter has booked a recurring role on the ABC Family series The Lying Game, according to

Carpenter joins the series when it returns for new episodes this January. She'll be playing Rebecca "Annie" Sewell, Phyllis' (Sydney Barrosse) estranged sister and Char's (Kirsten prout) aunt. Her return should be enough reason for Alec (Adrian Pasdar) and Sutton's dad Ted (Andy Buckley) to shiver, since she's got secrets the two probably wouldn't want exposed.

Whether Carpenter's character has something to do with the whole Sutton/Emma predicament remains to be seen. But considering what those two guys have been up to throughout the first batch of episodes, well... they have to be involved somehow, right?

Carpenter recently appeared on an episode of Supernatural alongside fellow Buffy alum James Marsters.

How do you think will Carpenter's character mix things up on The Lying Game? Do you even want her there? Answers in the comments, please...
