Joy Osmanski grew up in Olympia, Washington. She took up creative writing and studio art at the Principia College and graduated after three years. She began to work as a graphic designer and married her college boyfriend. Osmanski auditioned and snagged the lead role of a local production of Our Town. After performing in more stage productions, she relocated to Los Angeles to expand her repertoire to independent films. Darcy is played by Joy Osmanski on FOX's comedy series The Loop. Darcy is the overqualified secretary of Sam, and she possesses a somewhat bitter personality.
