Are you into fantasy football? Do you think about your team all the time that it affects every single aspect of your life? If you answered yes on both questions, then this new show is just for you.
Rookie FX comedy The League follows friends in a fantasy football league. Slated for Thursday nights, it follows hit series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and comes from producers Jeff Schaffer of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Jackie Marcus Schaffer of Disturbia.
A half-hour comedy about male friendship, marriage, parenting, and suburbia,
The League's ensemble cast includes Mark Duplass, Steve Rannazzisi, Nick Kroll, Paul Scheer, Jon Lajoie, and Katie Aselton. The first six episodes will air en route to its finale on December 3, also the date of Sunny's season closer.
Here are several clips from FX introducing the characters of
The League. Who's your favorite? I personally like the Mensa dude.
The League is the first in the bunch of new comedies that will kick-off in FX, with animated spy series
Archer premiering in January while Louis CK comedy
Louie debuting sometime in the first quarter.
