Previously on
The L Word, Tina (
Laurel Holloman) got blamed for the missing movie negatives due to her frustration over the film's new ending. Though she eventually suspected that Jenny (
Mia Kirshner) stole them, Jenny denied it and proved that she's not allowed on studio grounds anymore. Phyllis (
Cybill Shepherd) let Bette (
Jennifer Beals) in on a secret, and Kit (
Pam Grier) and Helena's (
Rachel Shelley) new club opened. But the biggest story of the night was the budding romance between Jenny and Shane (
Katherine Moennig).
Tonight's episode called “Leaving Los Angeles” finds Shane and Jenny still melting over each other. The question is: how long will it last? It seems that Jenny wants Shane to do away with past associations and if Shane doesn't live up to Jenny's expectations, then the relationship is likely to end quickly.
Elsewhere, Bette and Tina go to Nevada to meet a potential birth mother. Max and Tom try to resolve things but it doesn't get any easier as Max deals with being pregnant. Alice and Tasha play matchmaker and share a crush on someone. Furthermore, Bette stumbles on a new job prospect with Kelly (Elizabeth Berkley) but, as expected, this doesn't sit well with Tina.
Don't forget to catch the fourth episode of
The L Word's sixth and final season tonight on Showtime.
In other news, Mia Kirshner has revealed her current project now that
The L Word is into its final season.
I Live Here, a personal project she was able to pursue due to her earning from
The L Word, is a four-volume anthology about the lives of refugees in the Russian republic of Ingushetia, Burma, Juarez, Mexico, and Malawi. Kirshner reveals she spent $200,000 to pass through to these regions in order to collect testimonies from people rendered stateless or without a home. Aspiring to tell their stories through photographs, collages, paintings and journal entries, including her own, she has collaborated with three co-authors and top comic artists such as Joe Sacco.
